Annika can see you from the moment you have a positive home pregnancy test right through until your baby is 6 weeks old. Whether you're after continuity of care with the same midwife during pregnancy and/or during the postpartum period, or you're looking for a once off appointment to provide some additional midwifery input or support, there are a range of appointments and packages to chose from.

Single appointments: as needed up until your baby is 6 weeks old (approx. 60minutes)
The Full 6 Weeks: postnatal care from as soon as your arrive home from your birth until your baby is 6 weeks old

Antenatal & postnatal package
Shared care between Annika and the Launceston general hospital
- Unlimited midwifery appointments with Annika for the duration of your pregnancy
- A shortened booking in appointment and a 36 week appointment with the hospital to ensure they're up to date with your needs coming in to labour and birth
- Check ups or consultations at any point with the hospital team for issues or additional support you may need
- Postnatal care with Annika after discharge from hospital up until your baby is 6 weeks old

I'm an endorsed private midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I grew up in Scottsdale in North East Tasmania and have lived here most of my life. I have been working as a midwife in Launceston for eight years and feel privileged to offer private midwifery care to families in our little corner of Tasmania.
I am here to support you through every step of your pregnancy and early parenting journeys. I understand the importance of having experienced and personalised care, which is why I offer a range of appointments in the comfort of your home or in my Scottsdale clinic space.
