Whether you're after continuity of care with the same midwife during pregnancy and/or during the postpartum period, or you're looking for a once off appointment to provide some additional midwifery input or support, there are a range of appointments and packages to chose from.
For those who live within half an hours' drive of Launceston or Scottsdale, Annika offers all appointments in the comfort of your home. Alternatively, anyone can make appointments in her clinic space in Scottsdale or at the Launceston Birth Centre.

Together we can confirm your pregnancy (no need to see a GP), discuss and arrange early pregnancy screening, monitor your health and baby's growth, provide referrals for your pregnancy blood tests and ultrasounds, and prepare for labour, birth, and the postnatal period, At any stage in pregnancy, I provide a safe and supportive space to ask questions and explore your options.

Postnatal Care
Appointment and Package Options:
Option 1: Single postnatal visit (approx. 60minutes)
Option 2: Three visits between discharge from hospital services (around 1-2 weeks) until 6 weeks post birth
Option 3: The full 6 weeks of postnatal care from as soon as your arrive home from your birth until your baby is 6 weeks old

Shared care between Annika and your chosen birthing hospital
- Unlimited midwifery appointments with Annika for the duration of your pregnancy
- A shortened booking in appointment and a 36 week appointment with the hospital to ensure they're up to date with your needs coming in to labour and birth
- Check ups or consultations at any point with the hospital team for issues or additional support you may need
- Postnatal care with Annika after discharge from hospital up until your baby is 6 weeks old
